Parade Season is Here, and Rosies Are Riding in Style!

We had an even dozen World War II Original Rosie in the Ypsilanti 4th of July parade this year, a record turnout!

Rosie love a parade, and the crowd loves Rosies!

Our American Rosie the Riveter Association (ARRA) Original WWII Rosies love participating in local parades, and we often partner with the Yankee Air Museum’s Tribute Rosie the Riveters to bring a rousing display of everything “Rosie” to appreciative crowds while promoting Yankee Air Museum’s campaign to Save the Willow Run Bomber Plant.

In Ypsilanti on 4th of July morning, Original World War II Rosies from the American Rosie the Riveter Association (ARRA) rode in authentic WWII jeeps graciously provided for us and driven by our good friends John Sanderson and Bob Schrock, while the Tribute Rosies marched alongside to honor them. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell stopped by to greet her ARRA Original Rosie friends. Thank you, Bob, John, Debbie, and Tribute Rosies!

After the parade, the Rosies all went to lunch at their favorite place, the Bomber Restaurant in Ypsilanti.
