Rosies Turn Out in Force for Air Show 2018!

The WWII Original Rosies of the American Rosie the Riveter Association enjoyed the hospitality of the Yankee Air Museum at its annual Thunder Over Michigan Air Show at Willow Run. They shared a tent with Yankee’s “Tribute Rosie the Riveters,” and enjoyed greeting and chatting with air show guests, including two WWII veterans… a B-24 nose gunner and a Tuskegee Airman! Rosie Virginia got to ride on the B-17 bomber Texas Raiders, courtesy of the Commemorative Air Force. The Rosies are already looking forward to next year’s air show!
